seeing the inside of a soul

One of my jobs while I am here is to create a digital database of a private art collection.  When I go to their house, I feel like I am going inside a soul.
This is outside, looking in to a photograph of a homeless man.  I think this photo looks like it belongs in a Church.
Interesting things everywhere you look ... this is a BIG job.
Even outside ...  not a great photo, but it was raining and I took this from a window.  The sheep and other animals look like they belong there.
This woman is so stunningly beautiful, that she seems real ...
Dancing rabbit and rainy day in Florida.

in someone else's yard

Things are a little slow and lonely here.  Jubilee is itchy.  I'm busy with computer clients and taxes and the like.  Am missing my Knob Hill walks ...

the bonsai

This is the bonsai after a trim and a new pot.  Looks like it might survive the winter and its haphazard life between inside and outside.

hotel a la cioffoletti

Just as Aunt Louise and Gracie left, I had just enough time to change the sheets and wash the towels before Eric and Dawn and Fran arrived.  They brought with them a couple of beautiful bunches of chard that they had picked up at a Farmer's Market ...
I just love these!
I took them over to the Carousel and we all took a ride and then had dinner to the live music that they have on Friday night.
 Fran found a great purse!
I continued with Aunt Louise's prescription for bacon and eggs for breakfast ...
Then Fran's friend, Joya, came up from Lake Worth and we had a lunch of Eggplant Parmesan and the cooked chard, and talked all afternoon!

Aunt Louise and Gracie

Aunt Louise and Gracie have been visiting for the last couple of days.  As Aunt Louise (age 97) says: I can't believe that we're all here doing this!
We've been to the Sailfish Marina for dinner and a boat cruise, to the art show over there, and then to Carmine's for sfoogliatelle and pizza!
Saw lots of big boats and fancy houses ...
 Conch Fritters!
 Florida stuff.

The Carousel Concert-Thon

For the last couple of months I have been working on the website and graphics for the Carousel Concert-Thon - a fundraiser for a Music Foundation that provides music scholarships.  You can read all about it at the website.  Anyway, the event was today, so after my computer business in Loblolly, I headed over to downtown to see how the graphics looked.  I was a little worried that the 4 x 8 foot banner (above) would not be clear enough, but it looked ok.  Here are some photos from the event.

Who was the first "street musician" that I saw but Jonathan Baran ... and he was singing Bob Dylan!!
The TV people were there, filming it all ...
This is my cinch bag design!  I thought it was going to be a little plastic thing, but this is nice!! (The Cardiac Institute is the sponsor who paid for the bags.)
 Volunteers everywhere ...
 More street musicians...
I hadn't seen the Carousel before.  Nice.  It is made with a "Florida" theme, and draws a lot of children and families ...
This is my Lineup of Musical Performances Poster that I just did 2 days ago!  Musical performances on 2 stages, all day long.
 Seagulls ...
 Pink Flamingos!
 The Centre Stage ...
 Sound guys ...
 The Carousel Stage ...
Sweet little stickers on the donation bucket ...
Lots of people there enjoying the music and the day.  There's was even a little train going around ...
Big Vince and the Phat Cats!!
