Thanksgiving 2012

FA worked long and hard to pull together a Thanksgiving celebration here, pulling all the momentos of my mother out of the "magic cupboard" as well as adding a Fiji flair to it all ...

We used the plates and silver that my mother (and her mother) used many years ago.

 In Fiji they put hibiscus on the back of the toilets - so we did that too...

 John arrived on the Tri Rail ...

I've had company this week.
This is my sister, coming half way around the world!  Arriving at Palm Beach International airport a little after midnight.

 FA and her friend Jeannie (from Wellsville)...

 FA and me ...  I think this is the last day that I will have hair.  It's starting to fall out!

the tail end of Fall in Cranberry

This is the end of Fall in Cranberry.  Looks like Jubilee and I missed it this year ... but we may be there for the Spring!  We sure do miss our Knob Hill walks.

With Arnold Palmer at Latrobe

John is able to get direct and cheap flights home on the weekends when he gets the Spirit airline flights from the Latrobe PA airport into Fort Lauderdale.   The Latrobe Airport is named after golfer, Arnold Palmer, who grew up nearby.
