ducks on the canal and other things

Jubilee and I walk the canal most every morning, and I usually regret not having my camera with me.  A whole flock of new ducks have settled there.  Helen (a neighbor) says that they are not native to here and will probably be flying north soon.  They are cool, smallish ducks, always diving down underwater, or, en mass, flying just at the surface of the water.  They look like a fleet of airplanes.  This morning I was only able to photograph the native ducks, but I'm going to try to remember to bring my camera more.

Also, some interesting budding going on.  There really is a springtime in Florida!
A duck on the back of the decoy duck ...
He's got his head tucked down, but he's really got his eye on us.
When we get to the other side of him, he turns and tucks his head on his other side so that he can keep an eye on us.
 Pink beauganvalia ...
And the chime that Sebastian left ...
