Finally!

Finally!  The beloved Jeep that John drove for 23 years has been replaced by this nifty looking thing -- a 2009 Nissan Murano.  Nice!  Lots of good adventures ahead.  Boy I wish I were there ...  I hear it has "seat warmers" in it.  That's really going to come in handy in Florida!  John doesn't know how to act with a "new" car; he's worried about people hitting him and the like.

Fun day with Eric

Eric came to visit this weekend and we had fun acting like tourists.  Met Ooma and Oompa at the Chesterfield hotel for High Tea this afternoon, so we're not hungry for supper.  A good beach day!  Here are some sights from the day.

Sunrise on the canal

I rather like this photo of the canal where Jubilee and I walk every morning at sunrise.  Lately the reflection in the water has been especially vivid.

On another front I've had a mishap.  The official story is too boring so I'll just say that I fell off my motorcycle and have "road rash" on the right side of my face.  It's going to be a heck of a black eye.
