new bird feeder

This is the bird house/feeder that Eric and Dawn gave us for Xmas. I've attached it above the regular bird feeder. There have been some painted buntings and a cardinal eating from the lower feeder, but I haven't been able to get a photo of them. Maybe the new house/feeder will attract more. So far, the squirrels haven't been much of a problem.

Just today, I finally got my car unpacked. So Jubilee and I are here for awhile.

Love those cardinals! Beside the omnipresent sparrows, chickadees, redwing blackbirds, some robins, a few goldfinches, the cardinals really stand out.

How long is "a while"?

middle of May. Spring will be sprung by the time I get back :-(
