the white trees

This is the time of the white trees, all in bloom.  There are a lot of them used in landscaping schemes around houses and businesses.  I'm not sure if I like them or not.  Yes, they are "purdy", but they do not seem quite natural.  The blooms are starting to fall, replaced by green leaves.
 Tulips are up too!

  1. I wonder if they are apple trees. Love the unfolding of Spring in your photos. We are just beginning to see the buds forming.

    1. Yes, some kind of small apple. My neighbor here complains a lot about the mess they make on her porch all year. They are very popular, though. We are well into the blooming stage but I still see many buds just starting.

  2. They are not crabapples. Crabapples have gorgeous pink blossoms -- around May here.
