Keeping things updated

Just an update on what's going on ... Probably boring to anybody but us, but we often use the blog(s) to keep track of where we were at a particular time and what was going on.

John's motorcycle is in the shop. A little place down on the other side of the Ohio River ...

Getting some rain,

enough so that the creek at Knob Hill is finally flowing ...

Everything is filling in (so much difference in just the 2 weeks that I've been back) ....

and the mayapple patch at the top of the hill is back.

While some trees are only beginning to get leaves here, most are well along. There are tulips and daffodils sprouting in yards and there are hanging plants for sale in the shops. Lilacs bushes are blooming. It seems like a very slow spring to me this year. I am not complaining.

I love watching it. Everything is always changing. The change is more subtle as the season moves into summer - and I kind of grieve the move to more "maturity" - but there if you watch.
