dog booties

Jubilee was having a hard time walking on the salt on our sidewalks and when it went below 20 degrees her paws would freeze up when she walked in the snow. So I picked up these dog booties at the pet store. They tie around her paws with a Velcro strap. But Jubilee refuses to even walk in them! She just stands there. I guess I'll take them back.

Snow is gone now - back up to 50 degrees today and raining. But more snow tonight. Crazy weather.

Doggie booties and snowsuits are fairly common here. The salt is nasty on their feet.

I don't know what it would take to get Jubilee to even walk in these. I don't even think seeing other dogs wearing them would help. She is, indeed, miserable, Sally. Totally confused as to what has happened to her.
