The northeastern most point of Kiawah Island is an ecologically undisturbed place where the Atlantic Ocean meets the land. It is probably the most beautiful beach on the East Coast of the United States. Of course, it is a golf course. They say that it rivals, and perhaps surpasses, the dramatic beauty of Pebble Beach in Carmel California. That is where we went to lunch. My pictures do not capture the wild expanse of trees, grassland, and surf.
This is FA and her friend from Wellsville, Nancy, sitting on the "rocking bench" at the Golf Clubhouse out there.
The pillows on the couch in the clubhouse are "karate-chopped", which is the latest thing. Just in case you needed to know.
