Pittsburgh - Mount Washington Part 1

Views of Pittsburgh from Mount Washington.  The top 3 photos are of "the point" (Point Park), where the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers join to form the Ohio River.  Pretty good, considering how hazy (and hot) it was today.  More photos and stories tomorrow (hopefully).

  1. very nice - when i spent a lot of time at the point on my lunch hours, it was during my eastern religion period - looking at the water and imagining the depths - i remember very well...

remember how often it was partly cloudy there - a radio dj had a popular song on the radio for awhile, using the talking heads' "same as it ever was" from once in a lifetime and the popular local weatherman intoning " partly cloudy, partly cloudy..."

if you have a chance check out the 2 hindu temples - one is northern style and one is southern style - spent a lot of time there too

  2. I'm looking forward to a change in weather! I'll look for the temples. Eastern religions are still fascinating to me.
