Here are yet more photos of PGH taken from the Duck during the tour. The PPG (Pittsburgh Plate Glass) building dominates downtown Pittsburgh, in my opinion.
They say that during the 1950s it was so polluted they had to turn on the city lights at 2pm. But, yes, it's a very clean city now. Just enough culture and history to keep us busy for a few months. And the people are so very friendly and welcoming.
Seems like a tidy city. Just enough of everything without going overboard.

ReplyDeletethe second photo - that pointy church is nice to go in if you ever are in the neighborhood - i think it's episcopalian.
